Welcome to Circle of Friends

Welcome, excited to have you in my Circle of Friends!

Circle of Friends started as the Stoop Series, where I sit down on my actual stoop and chat with some of the coolest industry leaders, founders, advocates, and changemakers about how to contribute to a more circular economy. Beyond the stoop, it’s grown into a community for in-person events, even more conversations, and now it’s delivered to your inbox. 💌

We’re chatting about vintage fashion, investing in female founders, where to go antiquing, recipes and regenerative farming, and more sustainable gifts to bring a host that aren’t just a bottle of wine. Let’s just say I wear a lot of hats, but it all ties back to circularity.

Plus, paid subscribers receive invites to in-person Circle of Friends events. So if you want to learn more about how you can incorporate circularity into your life and work while making friends irl, upgrade to a paid subscription.

Meet Hilliary

I’m Hilliary, a sustainability consultant, event producer, vintage lover, and two-dog mom. I have a Master’s in Sustainability Management from Columbia University, and over 10+ years of experience in brand marketing for fashion and consumer brands. I started writing Circle of Friends (fka Something Borrowed, Never New for those who have been here a long time!) to share how easy it is to incorporate circularity into your own life.

I would love to get to know you, and thank you for your support. If you want to, please don’t be shy, reach out and say hi!

Want to Work Together?

People

I interview people on my actual stoop, a hostess who can't help herself to do the mostest, often wearing vintage, two-dog mom, here to write about how circularity is cool.
