An Italian Summer Night in Brooklyn

You're invited to a pasta party - the first Circle of Friends irl event

I am partnering with Matriark Foods to host the first Circle of Friends dinner! Join us for an intimate Italian-inspired summer dinner party centered around seasonal food, community building, and circularity.

There is nothing I love more than creating a space to bring people together. After a decade of producing events for brands, I thought I'd hung up my hat when I pursued my Master's in Sustainability only to realize my love for fostering in-person connections hasn't faded and the energy of an event still thrills me.

I started Circle of Friends to share conversations with leaders across various industries who are doing something interesting to keep our resources in circulation. I wanted to showcase how many ways we can participate in the circular economy, and that it can be as easy as selecting a tomato sauce with ingredients that otherwise would have been food waste for your next bowl of pasta.

While these conversations started here on substack and are sometimes on the stoop, I always envisioned an in-person component to create a space where individuals can gather, connect, learn, and build a community around a shared interest in caring for our planet.

Does that mean you have to work in sustainability to join my events? Absolutely not! Anyone who wants to meet new people and expand their Circle of Friends is welcome! (see what I did there)

The night will start with an aperitivo hour with Le Moné Spritz, followed by a multi-course dinner and dessert in the candle-lit garden. There will be plenty of pasta, women-owned wine, and non-alcoholic drinks + you’ll get a gift bag filled with goodies from Matriark, SIMPLi, Dancing Greens Farm, and more brands we love!
